Our goal is to have sustainable healthcare with focus on disease prevention and improving utilization of health services
Byumba Health Centre II started in June 2009 to provide outpatient health services to people in this hard to reach remote community. It is located in Bujengwe parish serving an immediate population of 6,257 people in Kayonza Sub County.
it is directly supervised by Bwindi Community Hospital as a satellite clinic to provide services to the underserved communities of Kayonza Sub County. It is 25 kms away from Bwindi Community Hospital and road network is very poor
Currently the health facility provides the following service;
Antenatal care and Family planning
Health Education
Immunization
HIV voluntary counseling and Testing Services
Emergency deliveries
Treatment of simple/ minor medical conditions
Referral of complicated cases to BCH
Nutrition Screening,
Obstetrical Ultra sound Scan
Mosquito net distribution
simple lab test.
